RIPLEY -- Two groups in Jackson County are working to make sure people in their communities have a happy holiday.
But they still need help.
The Ravenswood Adopt-a-Family program is still working to approve application. They expect to help more than one hundred families this Christmas.
Right now only 54 of those families have sponsors.
The Ravenswood Adopt-a-Family staff will make its headquarters at the Ravenswood Fire Department.
The office will be staffed during the day Monday through Friday.
For information on how to donate you can call 304-273-9897.
In Ripley there are still more than forty families who need sponsors through the Ripley Adopt a Family Program.
