CHARLESTON -- The dropping temperatures and first appearance of snow can be a painful reminder that the winter season is here. But this year, a traditional Christmas ballet is warming things up and spreading holiday cheer.
The Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker is coming to town. The performance will be at Charleston's Municipal Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10.
With classical ballet dancing, handcrafted backdrops and world-renowned life sized puppets, this holiday classic is sure to captivate the audience.
The show features over 30 young, West Virginia dancers chosen from the more than 6,000 who auditioned.
