Nicole Hughes is charged with giving a gun used in the shooting to Reginald Marbury
HUNTINGTON -- A Huntington woman charged in the Nov. 8 shooting at Club Babylon in Huntington will be appointed a new attorney.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday for Nicole Hughes, 22.
A public defender appointed to the case, made the request to be taken off the case, due to a conflict of interest. That request was granted.
Police said Hughes gave Reginald Marbury a gun used in the shooting.
Hughes is charged with accessory before the act of attempted murder which is a felony charge.
She is being held in the Western Regional Jail. Reginald Marbury is charged with shooting Sontezz Lomax in the club. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and the case will be heard by a grand jury in January.
Joe Porter was shot and killed by a Huntington police officer during the incident.
