Woman Hospitalized after Cabell County Crash

Victim had to be cut from vehicle.

BARBOURSVILLE -- A woman is sent to a Huntington hospital after crashing on Interstate 64.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. Friday. Cabell County 911 says two cars crashed in the westbound lanes of Interstate 64, near the West Mall exit.

The injured victim is believed to be a woman. Emergency crews had to cut the seat belt off of her to get her out of the wrecked vehicle.

No word on the details of the actual crash. Cabell County Sheriff's department and Barboursville police responded to the scene.
