The bodies of Virginia Massard, 49, and Joseph Cox, 27, were discovered in a house in Mocabee Creek Monday afternoon.
MOCABEE CREEK, Ky. -- UPDATED ON FRIDAY AT 7:30 PM
Kentucky State Police have arrested two people in connection to a double murder case in Carter County.
Police have charged David J. Caudill, 33, with two counts of murder and Richard M. Tomlin Jr., 48, with two counts of complicity to commit murder and one count of receiving stolen property.
According to a news release from KSP, the bodies of Virginia Massard, 49, and Joseph Cox, 27, were discovered in a house in Mocabee Creek Monday afternoon.
During the investigation, troopers said Caudill, was found with Massard's vehicle.
Kentucky state police also charged Caudill with receiving stolen property, driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. Caudill and Tomlin are being held in the Carter County Detention Center.
No additional information will be released until autopsies are performed on the victims.
