WINFIELD -- Four suspects have been indicted by a Putnam County Grand Jury for their role in the assault and robbery of a man in September.
Two of those suspects are the children of the chief of the Hurricane Fire Department. Robert and Christina Stover are charged with malicious assault and first degree robbery for their role in luring Corey Smart to Cow Creek in Teays Valley where Smart was beaten up and robbed. Also indicted were Justin Paxson and Roland Tate. They are facing the same charges as the Stovers.
