Annual Business and Economic Research Conference to Focus on State of Economy

CHARLESTON -- An annual conference that started in Charleston Wednesday will focus on the challenges facing the national and state economies.

West Virginia University's annual Bureau of Business and Economic Research Conference gets under way at the Embassy Suites.

The event was sponsored by the WVU College of Business and Economics.

The conference was to open with remarks from WVU President James P. Clements. It was scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
