Interstate 68 Shut Down Due to Vehicle Accident

KINGWOOD -- Traffic was rerouted in Preston County Friday night after an accident involving multiple vehicles. Preston County 911 said Interstate 68 was shut down between the Coopers Rock and Bruceton Mills exits for several hours.

According to officials, traffic was being rerouted onto old Route 73. Preston County officials have not released any more details on the cause of the accident or any injuries.
