Huntington Sporting Goods Store Gets New Owner

A New Business Will Reduce Prices.

HUNTINGTON -- An old Huntington store will soon do business in a new way.

Dan's Sport Shop on Fourth Avenue has been acquired by Global Liquidation Center of Proctorville, Ohio.

Store manager Greg Rowsey says customers will see significant price reductions on their goods brought on by Global's access to a huge inventory.

Those discounts will then be passed down to the consumer.

Dan's has been in business since 1950.
