New Information: Police release name of fatal victim and the investigation continues.

CHARLESTON -- A man was killed Tuesday after being shot in chest in Charleston. Police said multiple shots were fired into a house at 800 Grant St. on the West Side around 8:30 Tuesday evening.
Those in the residence were trying to get the victim in a car to take him to the hospital when the ambulance arrived.
On Wednesday, during a news conference, Charleston police released the name of the victim. James M. Williams, 19 died late Tuesday evening from gunshot wounds.
So far, no suspects have been named and the investigation continues.
