MILL CREEK -- Students at Tygarts Valley High School now have thumb drives, thanks to the Snowshoe Foundation.
The foundation recently donated $6,000 to buy 600 thumb drives, enough for every student and teacher in the school.
The drives are red and have the school's name on the front and the Snowshoe Foundation's logo on the back.
The drives give students more hands-on experience with technology, Tygarts Valley's principal said. "Often, you can get computers and get things in where we can have them in a classroom where not everybody can have access to them at the same time. The jump drives are something we were able to give each kid and say these are yours," Principal Steve Wamsley said.
The students will be able to keep the jump drives after they graduate.
