WAYNE COUNTY -- Veterans Day may be a week away but some women in Wayne County are doing their part to make sure the American military veterans are honored all year round.
They call themselves the Creative Quilters and have been busy making and giving out lap quilts and quilts of valor. They spent Tuesday at the Veterans Medical Center in Wayne County.
The organization is made up of about 100 Women and gave out 40 quilts.
If you're interested in joining the Creative Quilters, they meet the second Monday every month at the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Huntington at 6:30 pm.
