BRIDGEPORT -- Governor Joe Manchin and first lady Gayle Manchin have put a top priority on educating kids about the dangers of swine flu.
Manchin spoke to juniors and seniors at Bridgeport High School and to kids at Johnson Elementary on Tuesday morning.
"My wife and I, the First Lady, we are going all over the state. I want people to know this is not something to be taken lightly. We've never seen this before." said Manchin.
He told the students that they really need to be aware of good hygiene including coughing into their sleeves, if necessary.
He also stressed the importance of seeing a doctor immediately following any signs of flu like symptoms.
Governor Manchin briefly spoke with the media and said all 55 counties will get their allotments of the H1N1 vaccination.
