The plea will allow Jonathan Adkins to be convicted without explaining his role in the crime.
HUNTINGTON -- A Barboursville man admitted his role in a 2007 Cabell County murder Monday.
Jonathan Adkins entered a "Kennedy plea" in Cabell County Circuit Court.
The plea allows Adkins to be convicted without explaining his role in the crime.
Adkins was charged in October 2007 with the shooting death of Jerry Eaves of Barboursville. The crime happened on Heath Creek Road in Salt Rock. Adkins will be sentenced in January.
