The eyes of the Southern Ohio Conference will center on Minford this Friday.
The conference champion could likely be determined by the outcome of the Wheelersburg-Minford matchup.
Both squads enter the game with 4-and-1 records.
The Pirates dropped their season opener against Ironton, but have since rattled off four straight wins, thanks in large part to their increased offensive production.
The Burg has averaged more than 50 points a contest, over that four game span.
Momentum not on the side of the Falcons though.
Minford dropped their first game of the year last Friday against Oak Hill.
These two squads got very familiar with one-another last year.
Wheelersburg got the better of Minford twice, once in the postseason.
Both were extremely close, one possession contests.
The Pirates won 14-7 in the regular season, and 14-6 in the second season.
