They're setting up shop in the former Ames building in Teays Valley.

TEAYS VALLEY -- A regional department store chain is coming to Putnam County.

Magic Mart plans to move into the former Ames building in Liberty Square in Teays Valley.

A spokesperson for the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce says they're bringing 100 jobs in the process. Some upper level management staff will be relocating to the area.

The store is expected to open in late September.

The former Ames building has been vacant for more than eight years.
