The farmer's market will be open until October.
HURRICANE -- There's now a place for you to get straight from the farm produce and flowers in Putnam County.
The county's first ever farmer's market opened Thursday afternoon for business.
It's located at Valley Park in Hurricane. So far, about nine county farmers and gardeners have signed up to sell their vegetables, crafts and other homemade goods.
The market will be open from 3:30 p. m. to 7 p. m. every Thursday until October at Valley Park in Hurricane.
