New Tax Filing System In Cabell County

System Is Designed To Be Easier For Taxpayers

Cabell County --  There are new ways you can pay taxes in Cabell County. You can now pay at the sheriffs field office at Ona or you can pay on line.

Sheriff Thomas McComas also announced today a way you can tell where the taxes you pay will be going. He says a lot of times, taxpayers believe all the money goes to the county commission or his office. McComas says its important to show people exactly how the money is divided. This new system is new to West Virginia.

You can pay on line by going to Cabellcountysheriff.org. A fee of 2.95% will apply.
