Putnam County Man Faces Child Porn Charges

Russell Eugene Lemon was indicted Thursday on child pornograghy charges.

Eleanor, Putnam Co. -- An indictment was returned Thursday by the Grand Jury for the United State Court for the Southern District of West Virginia charging Russell Eugene Lemon with distribution and possession of child pornography.

According to a release from the United State District Court, Lemon knowingly distributed child pornography around or on March 27, 2008 in or near Eleanor in Putnam County.

On August 21, Lemmon knowingly possessed material containing images and videos of child pornography.

If convicted he faces 30 years in prison and half-million dollar fine.

Russell Lemon was arrested by Dublin, Ohio police Monday afternoon.
