Flash Floods Hit Lawrence County, Ohio Overnight

Areas in and around the town of Pedro most affected.

PEDRO, Ohio -- The National Weather Service reports that flash flooding has taken place in and around the Lawrence County town of Pedro, Ohio overnight.

It happened around 1:30 a.m.

Several homes have reported being flood.

Directly affected are the areas off Route 93, Route 650, Route 179, Route 141 and Route 21 north of Ironton.

Flash flood warnings and watches remain in effect for much of our viewing area. Stay with 13 News and wowktv.com for continuing updates on the situation.
