Sheetz, Inc. held a ribbon cutting ceremony to open its Barboursville location off Route 60.

The store unofficially opened last week, but local dignitaries and community leaders were there Thursday afternoon for a special reception.

Store management donated $7,500 to the Barboursville Community Park.

This is the first of numerous stores expected to open in the region.

A store in Milton is expected to be ready for business in a few weeks.
