Voters in more than 130 towns in West Virginia turned out Tuesday to vote for mayors, council members, and other leaders.
Election results are in for Winfield, Marmet, and Clendenin.
Ronald Stone soundly defeated Marty Burns for mayor with 178 votes to 41.
Jackie Hunter ran unopposed for recorder.
City Council positions go to Joe Rumbaugh, Nathan Fewell, Dana Campbell, Charles Keefer, Charles Eshbaur, and Kevin Carnes.
In Marmet:
Billy Pauley won the race for mayor with more than 300 votes and David Fontalbert won the race for recorder.
Council members include Bill Tardy, Ruth Meadows, Bob Wells, and Jerry McGhee.
In Clendenin:
Bob Ore won the race for mayor with 144 votes.
Robert Evans won the race for recorder. Council members include Bernard Stout, John Shelton Jr., Kenneth Payne, David Brinckman, and Sharon Hinzman.
