The date is set for August 29.
PUTNAM CO. -- The Putnam County School Broad voted unanimously to hold a special bond election on August 29.
Putnam County residents will vote for or against a bond that will help raise funds for nine school construction projects throughout the county.
This will include five new schools to be built including Buffalo High, Confidence Elementary, Poca Elementary and Middle and Winfield Middle.
The projects are estimated to cost $79 million. The bond will raise $56.7 million and an additional $21.7 million will be given by the West Virginia School Building Authority.
