Senior Trooper A.S. Loudin, of the Elkins Detachment, interviewed a 15-year-old male who admitted to being involved in a sexual relationship with his former teacher. The teacher was identified as Ms. Autumn Faulkner, 26, of Beverly, West Virginia. Faulkner had previously served as the juvenile’s 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Elkins Middle School . Senior Trooper Loudin obtained sufficient probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Faulkner and a search warrant for her residence. During the execution of the search warrant, evidence discovered by the West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Team was collected and submitted to the laboratory for analysis.

Faulkner was arrested for one count of sexual abuse by a guardian. During the arraignment, her bond was set at $50,000.00. Faulkner is currently lodged in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
