DUNBAR -- It's a day fit for festivities and football in one Kanawha County town.
The parade rolled though Dunbar Thursday afternoon, kicking off the 60th anniversary of the Commode Bowl.
After the parade, participants took to the field where the River Rats battled it out against the Hillside Rams.
While it's not what it once was, organizers are hoping the youth of the community will grab the torch and keep the festivities alive.
"It's starting to die off. Thank heavens we had a little more help, we had some parade organizers, we had a good parade. We're trying right now to get the young people involved in it," said Organizer, Jean Angle.
This year's parade had about 60 floats dnd former World's Strongest Man, Phil Pfister was the Grand Marshal.
The River Rats beat the Hillside Rams 28-0.
