BOG must demand that Garrison step down.
It seems impossible that after six months of chaos, the debate is actually still going on in Morgantown. If this were a little league baseball game, the mercy rule would have been implemented.
I hope the West Virginia University Board of Governors is listening to the state because the message is clear and overwhelming - Mike Garrison needs to step down.
Friday's report missed the mark.
President Garrison continues to try and manage the crisis but fails to lead the university.
The lack of action on the part of the board of governors and the unwillingness to address the destruction of the reputation of this once proud institution is equally troubling.
This needs to come to an end on Friday at the next BOG meeting.
The board needs to take control of West Virginia University, force Mike Garrison from office and start a search for a new president.
Anything short of this is a failure for all involved. |
