People were voting as early as 7:30 Wednesday morning.
CHARLESTON -- West Virginia voters are already casting their primary election ballots. Early voting got underway statewide Wednesday morning. Secretary of State Betty Ireland predicts 25% of the primary votes will be cast before May 13th. Voters were up early in Kanawha County casting their votes. Non-affiliated voters can now vote using either a Democratic or Republican ballot.
Early voting continues through May 10. You can check on early voting locations and times by calling your county clerk or online at wvvotes.com.
