Former American Idol Contestant To Come to Raleigh County

An American Idol is making his way through Raleigh County.

BECKLEY- -- West Virginia's own Robbie Carrico will be making several stops in West Virginia.

He'll be at John Eye Big Sandy Superstore on Industrial Drive in Beckley.

He'll be helping with a fund raiser about 1 p.m.

The event is to raise money for Leslie Newsome of Mullens who needs a liver transplant.

Robbie will also be making an appearance at Shady Spring High School Monday for the Hill Spring-Shady Spring Invitational Track meet. He'll be singing the national anthem at 4 p.m. and signing autographs.

The money raised that night will go to the Shady Spring Middle School Athletic Department.
