BECKLEY- -- One man was hurt in an accident at a Raleigh County mine.
Mine Safety and Health officials say the accident happened Tuesday evening at the Horse Creek Eagle Mine. Officials say a miner was riding a man-trip when his foot became wedged between the vehicle and the mine wall.
He suffered a fracture and underwent surgery.
The mine is owned by Marfork Coal Company.
