HUNTINGTON - The Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition is sponsoring an art show Saturday night in called "The Appalachian Landscape: Bob Ross Don't Live Here No More."
Artists from around the area and across the country will display their work Saturday night at 949 3rd Avenue, across from Pullman Square. The show starts at 7 p.m.
The display space was donated by local Dr. Joseph B. Touma.
Organizers say the show is an artistic response to the destruction of the local landscape.
"Artwork is a language. It speaks just the same as words, and some people might not be aware of what's going on and this might be a way to convey those ideals," said local artist David Seth Cyfers.
The show is free and a portion of the proceeds from the work sold will benefit the OHVEC.
