Sandra anchors our 6:00, 7:00 & 11:00pm newscasts and has been a member of our 13 News team since 1994. Before joining WOWK-TV, Sandra worked for television stations in Tampa, FL, Wichita, KS, Sioux City, IA and Rapid City, SD. She is a Wisconsin native who has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Sandra is very involved in the community and helps with numerous charity events and organizations, including the March of Dimes, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Faith in Action, American Red Cross, The Epilepsy Foundation, Team for West Virginia Children, Veterans Administration Hospital, Cabell-Wayne Association for the Blind and she is a mentor for the H.O.S.T. reading program in local schools.
In her spare time, Sandra enjoys tennis, golf, snow skiing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and traveling with her son and daughter, Jordan and Allison. One of their favorite trips was to Alaska.
